I like it when my friends give me excuses for brewing. I like it even more when circumstances allow me to accurately declare that there is “trouble brewing in my bathroom cupboard”! I’ve brewing a New zealand inspired pale ale for my kiwi-loving friends Non and Dan. Non is publishing a book (pre-order it now!) and I’ll be providing some beer for the launch party in March. The book is called Trouble and the beer is too.

Nelson Sauvin is the Kiwi variety hops that have inspired this particular recipe. Hopefully it’ll be a delicious blend of fruity Nelson and some classic British hops (fuggles and challenger).
