dunkel tasting at workGood news. Oli likes his beer. We opened couple of bottles after work today – a few days early but we couldn’t wait. And surprisingly the wheat dunkel is pretty good.

It’s dark with good body and perhaps just a little bit too fizzy. It’s definitely pretty wheaty – you get that classic german wheat beer taste, but it’s dark in colour and fairly mild in taste. There isn’t much bitterness from the chocolate malt or hops. Pretty lightly hopped but very interesting. A good summer beer Oli says, and I would agree.

I will defintely be repeating the recipe in the coming months.
